Aura: a Telegram diary with a colour calendar and AI artifacts
Role: development of the experimental Aura product, including its Python backend, Telegram integration and web interface.
Aura is built around a brief daily ritual. Users choose a colour, add a note of up to 300 characters and record their energy. Entries form a colour calendar, while accumulated history supports a textual and visual AI artifact.
A small diary with a lasting history
The system stores one entry per user per day and displays current and best entry streaks. Reminders follow the selected local time. The Telegram Web App connects to a bot, and the server verifies Telegram login data.
A weekly artifact requires at least six entries in the requested week; a monthly artifact requires fifteen in the requested month. These are product rules rather than user-audience statistics.
AI generation with failure handling
The FastAPI backend stores data through SQLAlchemy and SQLite. Text and image generation use an ordered fallback across configured AI providers. A report is saved once both parts succeed; an external service failure is not treated as a finished output.
The delivered result is an implemented micro-diary with a calendar, bot, reminders and artifact generation. It is an experimental self-reflection product with no medical-analysis promise. The illustration uses a demonstration visual history; private user entries are not published.
