FlyGuru: a travel website and business management system
The project was stopped because the client could not continue developing the travel business the system was built for. This case presents the implemented parts of the website and management system; further development has ceased.
Role: participation in FlyGuru product design and development.
The system was created for tourism business operations: presenting services, receiving enquiries, creating orders and connecting payment records to internal accounting. Its implemented scope combined a public catalogue and company workspace.
From enquiry to order
The workspace lets a company configure services, staff and schedules. An enquiry can be processed and converted into an order, with a shorter order form available for on-site staff. Customer records and history preserve the context of the request.
Public pages present services and locations. Employee permissions determine which workspace sections and actions are available.
Company-level financial records
Implemented modules cover paid-order income, manual income and expenses, recurring expenses and reference salary records. Confirmed and planned transactions remain separate. Reports belong to the selected company, with different permissions for viewing and management.
This case documents the completed module development. It does not establish a successful commercial launch, an ongoing partnership or continued business activity. The labelled illustration explains the workflow without real customer or financial data.
