A consumer goods promotion platform with receipts, games and prizes
Client: a major consumer goods manufacturer. Role: backend, APIs, administration and integrations delivered through Deep; the customer-facing interface was a team effort.
A purchase-based promotion needs more than receipt-image collection. It must verify a purchase, attach it to the participant and award the reward once. The same rules then need to carry through games and prize draws.
From receipt to verified points
The system accepts fiscal details and receipt QR data, as well as images for recognition. Background jobs extract fiscal information and check it through an external service. Ambiguous submissions move to manual processing while retaining a clear status.
Normalized details and a unique fingerprint prevent repeated purchase registration. Awards depend on confirmed results and account for repeated requests. An operation history explains where a participant's points came from.
Games, rewards and campaign management
The game layer separates a game definition from each participant attempt. The backend validates actions and results rather than trusting scores supplied by the client. Quizzes, attempt limits, prizes and draws follow the rules of the specific campaign run.
Administrators manage receipts, settings, games, point transactions and rewards. Queues process long-running operations and notifications. My delivered work is the server foundation for the connected purchase → verification → points → participation → prize journey.
