Site for the "Mandarim 2020" promotion in Dixy.

Mandarim 2020 was a joint New Year promotion by the Victoria and Dixy retail chains. Under the campaign rules, a qualifying purchase could come with a scratch card offering a discount, while receipts containing sponsor products could be entered into a prize draw. We developed the promotion website and its participant account.

Participants could add receipt details in two ways: scan a receipt or enter its information manually. After submitting it, they could return to the account and check the receipt status for the draw. The website connected purchase receipt submission with a way to follow the status of each registered receipt.

The site also published the promotion rules and mechanics, sponsor and prize information, and a list of winners. These information sections explained what participants needed to do, which products were associated with sponsors, and where to find the draw results.

In this version of the promotion, a purchase above the required amount came with a scratch card offering a discount on a future purchase or a particular product. Receipts with sponsor products were used for the prize draw. This is separate from the other Mandarim project centred on entering a code from a scratch card: this case covers the receipt registration website and participant account.

Our work covered the website, participant account, receipt submission and campaign information pages. We describe the web component of the project; running the draw, issuing discounts and awarding prizes were part of the promotion itself.
